Teddy's Testimonials

As a kindergarten teacher for 27 years, I’m always looking for new ways to make teaching sight words meaningful and exciting, while keeping the newest research in mind. Since my students love Teddy from Dr. Kadakia’s Teddy in Trouble series, I was eager to purchase the Teddy Time with Sight Words box. I love that it takes a holistic and play-based approach to teaching the words. I would definitely recommend this product to any parent or teacher of emergent readers.

Teddy in Trouble is an adorable children’s book series that has quickly become a beloved part of our family’s reading repertoire. What I appreciate about these books is that they lend themselves well to discussion with children. After reading about Teddy’s troubles, we can chat about why he made certain choices and what we might do in a similar situation. It has also helped me connect with my kids at a deeper level. Overall, I highly recommend this book series.

This thoughtful brand has been curated to support the socioemotional development of children through fun exercises and stories. As a developmental psychologist, I am keenly aware of the important growth that empathic and prosocial behaviors (i.e., helping others) undergo during childhood and adolescence. Teddy in Trouble caters to support the positive behavioral development kids deserve to experience during childhood and the transition to adolescence.
